We partnered with Spotify to create an Experience Box for their True Crime Podcast lineup that was equal parts clever, immersive, and just the right amount of unhinged.
Because if you’re going to make a case for something… make it impossible to ignore.

The ask was simple:
Convince advertising partners that Spotify’s True Crime podcasts aren’t just popular—they’re obsessive, can’t-stop-listening, cancel-your-plans kind of good.So we built a box that dropped you straight into the mindset of a true crime junkie mid-binge.
Lights off. Phone on silent. Suspicions high.We leaned all the way into the narrative, creating a mailer that felt like it came straight from a crime scene….or maybe the killer themselves.
Inside the Evidence
Every detail was designed to feel discovered, not delivered.Custom “evidence bags” housed each item—because presentation is everything when you’re building a case. Inside, recipients found everything they needed for the ultimate podcast binge:
Slippers (paired with blue shoe covers… because we respect a crime scene)
A “Do Not Disturb” weighted eye mask for full immersion mode
A true crime–inspired wine glass (because… obviously)
A comms card disguised as a ransom note—playful, eerie, and impossible to ignore
A notebook to take down all the clues.
The box itself didn’t hold back either. Crime scene tape graphics wrapped the experience, while a custom Spotify playlist code pulled recipients directly into the world of True Crime podcasts with a single scan.
The Result:
It wasn’t just a mailer—it was an experience.
One that turned passive viewers into active participants, and potential partners into fully invested listeners.Because once you’re in… you’re in.
