When Spotify called about the McDonald’s Worldwide Convention, we were in.
With 15,000 franchise owners walking the floor in Orlando, the brief was simple: be impossible to ignore, and harder to forget. So we built a booth that felt like a living page out of Spotify’s Culture Next report, insight-driven, visually punchy, and actually fun to interact with. (Rare, we know.)
A Playlist Wall pulled people in with QR codes linking to curated playlists and podcasts that turned browsing into instant listening. A giant 55” iPhone (very subtle) let guests contribute to a global playlist because culture is better when everyone adds something. Listening stations showcased real McD x Spotify case studies (education, but make it vibey), alongside a “Famous Orders” wall featuring artist collabs from Saweetie to BTS to Travis Scott — all translated into bold, dimensional visuals. Two interactive touchscreens kept things moving. The footprint stayed tight (10’ x 12’) the impact did not.Quick. Engaging. Slightly extra. Like a perfect order.
We won’t disclose how many Big Macs it took to make this happen. But it was… a respectable amount.
